Dead Horse Bore Prospect

Dead Horse Bore Prospect (EPM 15145 “Mazeppa Extended”)

The Dead Horse Bore Prospect is a low hill that is coincident with a magnetic anomaly which is interpreted to represent an igneous intrusion at shallow depth. A stockwork of oxidised sulphidic veins within sediments are present near the top of this rise and a nearby oxidised contact breccia along the rim of a diorite intrusion present targets for immediate drill testing.

Epithermal Gold Targets

In addition to the above immediate drilling targets, the potential for epithermal gold discovery of the Vera Nancy – Twin Hills types within the north western group of Zamia Gold’s tenements (EPMs 14790, 14792 and 14793) is rated as very high. However the area poses certain challenges to exploration as it is mostly concealed by younger weathered rocks and sand.

Lucky Break Mines

The Lucky Break Mine (“Lucky Break”) is situated approximately 95 kilometres north of Clermont on the Gregory Highway and was developed by Ross Mining N.L. between 1987 and 1988. Approximately 90,000 tons of ore were treated at an average grade of 2.4g/t to yield around 7,000ozs of gold.
