Gold, Molybdenum and Copper

Zamia’s exploration tenements cover targets for gold, molybdenum and copper.  These are related to intrusive centres and associated volcanic strata of the Drummond Basin sequence.

The geological and geophysical data provide a template for assessing regional discovery potential.  A review of regional geophysical data, accompanied by reconnaissance fieldwork, has highlighted numerous features which have characteristics similar to the Anthony area.

The data have highlighted 15 intrusive centres in addition to Anthony.  These provide targets for porphyry systems with potential for molybdenum, gold and copper.  Zamia has 14 Exploration Permits for Minerals (EPMs) to cover the identified targets.  Zamia’s tenements (EPMs and EPM applications) now cover almost 1,300 km2.

The Clermont district is emerging as a highly mineralised region, with excellent potential for discovery of additional deposits of molybdenum, gold and perhaps copper.  Zamia has established a substantial tenement position and is extremely well placed in this highly prospective area.
